About DhanikaCal

India's most comprehensive free calculator platform — helping every Indian make smarter money decisions with accurate, easy-to-use tools.

Our Story

DhanikaCal was born out of a simple frustration: most online financial calculators in India either show results in dollars, lack Indian-specific tax rules, or hide behind paywalls. We believed every Indian — whether a salaried professional in Bangalore, a farmer in Punjab, or an NRI in Dubai — deserves access to accurate, free, and easy-to-use financial tools.

What started as a handful of SIP and EMI calculators has grown into a platform with over 550+ specialised calculators spanning personal finance, taxation, salary, loans, real estate, farming, engineering, health, and education — all tailored for the Indian context with lakhs-and-crores formatting, Indian tax slabs, and region-specific rules.

Every calculator on DhanikaCal is reviewed for mathematical accuracy and updated when government policies change — such as the new tax regime slabs for FY 2025-26, revised EPF interest rates, or updated MSP prices for Kharif and Rabi crops.

Editorial Standards

Our calculators are built using official sources and thoroughly tested. We follow a rigorous process:

  1. Research — We study official sources (Income Tax Act, RBI circulars, SEBI guidelines, ICAR recommendations) before building any calculator.
  2. Build & Test — Each calculator is developed with unit-tested logic and cross-verified against manual calculations and official examples.
  3. Review — Content is reviewed for clarity, accuracy, and completeness by our team before publishing.
  4. Update — We monitor policy changes and update affected calculators within days of official announcements (e.g., Union Budget changes, RBI rate decisions).

While we strive for accuracy, our calculators are for informational and educational purposes only. They should not be considered a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions involving significant financial commitments.
